Bullis (MD) School Senior, Eric Allen Jr., commits to the University of Southern California. Allen is a part of the Bulldogs squad that is currently dominating the private division of Maryland in sprints and relays. In 2016, Allen posted a non-wind legal 100m PB of 10.51 at the IAC Championships and then went a wind-legal mark of 10.68 (+1.5) at the Caribbean Scholastic Invitational two weeks later.
He owns a top outdoor mark of 21.04 seconds in the 200m and has gone 21.33 seconds indoors, along with a PB of 33.49 seconds in the 300m indoors. Allen has experience in the hurdles as well, going 8.06 seconds in the 55mH and 14.50 seconds in the 110mH.
Allen has also split 49 seconds outdoors in the 400m from April at the Bojangles Track and Field Classic in South Carolina. He went split 48-point indoors in December at Ocean Breeze. *
